A Main Course with Chef Lisa at the Royal Automobile Club

One year ago, I got the opportunity to step into the kitchen at the Royal Automobile Club to assist Chef Martyn Nail on the starter for the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts’ Adopt a School Trust fundraising dinner. This year, I returned to take on the main course with the phenomenal Chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen.

What an unforgettable experience at the Royal Automobile Club. The dish was beautifully executed, full of flavour and finesse. It was a privilege to contribute to such a meaningful event through something I am passionate about.

A heartfelt thank you to Oliver for taking time to show me how to sear the lamb and belly. It is always inspiring to work alongside skilled and supportive professionals who bring out the best in others.

Chef Lisa is exceptional. She is focused, kind, funny and full of positive energy. Her calm and confident leadership in the kitchen was a joy to witness. She is a true role model for young aspiring chefs like me.

I am incredibly proud of my peers. We worked with precision, spirit and teamwork. It is always a pleasure to collaborate with such a dedicated and driven team.

Thank you Ashley for the invitation and sincere appreciation to Tarik, Michael and everyone who made the day so special.

It was an honour to represent the University of West London at this prestigious event. I was glad to see some familiar faces including Nathan, James and Ben. I hope you enjoyed the dinner.

Experiences like this remind me why I chose this path. I carry each one forward with gratitude and determination.
